Jordan Strategy Forum Highlights Financing Tools for Impact Investment

As part of its active role within “Impact Jordan”, the Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF) participated in a series of meetings and discussion sessions dedicated to financing tools that drive impact investment. These sessions explored innovative financial instruments that support sustainable development across the Kingdom, with a special focus on the potential of Islamic finance tools such as Sukuk and Waqf to fund initiatives that deliver measurable social and economic value. The discussions also featured successful experiences from regional and international contexts and included expert recommendations in this field.

Jordan Strategy Forum Hosted the Minister of Investment

The Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF) convened its General Assembly meeting with the participation of JSF members, a representative from the Ministry of Culture, the Forum’s legal advisor, and its external auditor.

The session was led by JSF Chairman, H.E. Al-Sharif Faris Sharaf, who expressed his sincere appreciation to the members, the Board, and the executive management for their efforts and contributions throughout 2024.

During the meeting, the General Assembly reviewed and approved the administrative and financial reports for 2024, and endorsed the proposed budget for 2025.

Consultative Session to Discuss the Draft General Framework of the National Social Protection Strategy (2025-2033)

The Ministry of Social Development, in collaboration with UNICEF, the Jordan Strategy Forum, and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce, organized a consultative session to review the draft general framework of the National Social Protection Strategy (2025-2033). The session gathered key representatives from the Ministry, private sector members of the Jordan Strategy Forum, and delegates from the Chambers of Industry and Commerce.

Jordan Strategy Forum Hosts the Prime Minister H.E. Dr. Jafar Hassan

The Jordan Strategy Forum hosted the Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan in a discussion session with the JSF members to discuss opportunities for partnership and integration with the private sector to achieve the Economic Modernization Vision and the Public Sector Modernization. The session also highlighted the government's priorities for the coming period.

During the meeting, the Jordan Strategy Forum launched the interactive economic dashboard to showcase and analyze a comprehensive set of key local and international economic and social indicators, providing a clear picture of the economic landscape.
